On December 20, 2024, the Talent and Technology Needs Matching Conference between Shandong University and Shanmon Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd. was held. Li Lei, Member of the Standing Committee of Qingzhou Municipal Party Committee; Min Fanli, Chairman of Shanmon Machinery; and Wan Yi, Dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering at Shandong University, attended the event. During the conference, Shandong University's School of Mechanical Engineering signed a framework agreement for talent and technology cooperation with Shanmon Machinery.

Li Lei, Member of the Standing Committee of Qingzhou Municipal Party Committee and Minister of the Organization Department, welcomed the arrival of Shandong University's experts and scholars. He noted that in recent years, Qingzhou City has prioritized talent development as a foundational, strategic, and pivotal initiative, actively innovating mechanisms and optimizing the environment to continuously enhance the leading and supportive role of talent in economic and social progress. Shanmeng Machinery will seize this opportunity presented by the matchmaking event to fully leverage Shandong University's talent and technological strengths, strengthen the commercialization and application of engineering technologies, integrate and optimize resources along the industrial chain, and steadily elevate the quality and competitiveness of Qingzhou City's mechanical equipment manufacturing sector.

Wan Yi, Dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering at Shandong University, introduced the college's research activities and talent-development initiatives. He noted that Qingzhou boasts a profound cultural heritage and clear advantages in industrial development, expressing his hope to further strengthen collaboration between academia and industry, foster deep integration among government, industry, academia, research, and application, accelerate the commercialization of cutting-edge scientific findings, and ultimately achieve mutually beneficial and win-win growth.
